Arsenal Hard Wekend

Arsenal will play a number of games that can not be spelled out lightly in the month of January. Jack Wilshere also expressed its readiness to face game match for the sake of improving the position of the Gunners in the standings.

After facing Southampton and Swansea City at the beginning of the year, Arsenal still have another five games in the month of January. The details are four games in the Premier League and the match replay against Swansea in the FA Cup.

In the Premier League, opponents will face Arsenal is hardly easy. This weekend, the direction of Arsene Wenger's team will host the defending champion, Manchester City, Sunday (13/01/2013).

Afterwards, the teams that will be against Arsenal in a row is Chelsea (away), West Ham United (home), and Liverpool (home).

"We will face some tough games and we know that in England, at a time like this is very important," Wilshere said on the club's official website.

"We got a big game on Sunday and while we know City are a good team, we're playing at home so we had to win."

Arsenal are still stuck in the top six with 34 points and four points behind Chelsea in fourth - a position which is believed to be the minimum target of Arsenal. Therefore, Wilshere hopes his team can achieve maximum results in January to improve the position in the standings.

"We know we need results. We're not in the position we want in the league. We want higher. We will face some games and we have to make sure we maximize them," said the 21 year-old midfielder.
